It is the intention of the foundation to establish platforms throughout the continent and development programs that will empower emerging and established manufacturers by improving their access to technical skills, production knowledge, and global industrial best practices, enabling them to compete regionally and internationally.
The AMF has identified key areas to focus on its mission to ensure that manufacturing industry falls in the hands of Africans in the continent. It is for this reason that it has committed to establish adaptable and motivated manufacturing practices and facilitate the development of Africa’s human capital, industrial skills, and economic self-reliance by building strong, inclusive, and innovative manufacturing communities across the African continent.
The foundation has set its sights to not only revolutionizing the manufacturing industry in Africa, but enable economic growth across the continent to be done through targeted support for African manufacturers, industrial workers, youth, women, and communities to ensure their active participation in Africa’s industrial transformation.
